Frag Infinity Tournament (FITES) is an independent LAN party organization celebrating over 20 years of hosting events of all sizes, based in Central Pennsylvania. This organization started as a way for PC gaming enthusiasts to come together and circumvent at-the-time slow internet to play a multitude of games with one another. While internet speeds aren’t a hurdle anymore, the enthusiasm for bridging the internet gap and playing way too many video games, tabletop games, and more together lives on year after year!
LAN parties like FITES also provide a great social experience, where you meet players for more than just their gamertag of choice. Players of all types, backgrounds, skill-sets, and personalities congregate at this event, and we provide a welcoming environment for those attending their very first LAN party up through seasoned LAN veterans. LAN parties like this go beyond hopping online with a few of your friends – you jump straight into an environment where you now have 100+ of your best friends for the weekend all playing any and every kind of video game, together!
There’s plenty to do beyond just playing your favorite games at FITES LAN as well: we provide a tabletop library and space to help give your eyeballs a break from your monitor, there are a wide variety of free-entry tournaments to enter, and we also have raffles for various computer equipment! We provide the opportunity to have a blast, and all you need to do is take it!
FITES LAN began with its first event at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 2001, with a group of roughly 30 attendees. Consistent growth, larger venues, and lots of hype have helped us grow to events with up to 250 attendees! This allows us the distinction of being one of the top three largest LAN parties in the Northeast US! We would love to count you among them at our next event and help us grow even more.
